Better With You - Pilot Outline

Nice example of a simple multi-cam that explores two couples in very different places in their lives. The story doesn't get in its own way and it unfolds naturally. It tackles on idea from a few angles and is interesting for that.

1. We meet both couples. Pair of vets, pair of newbies.
2. Couples meet each other. Old couple not married by choice. Young couple fooling around. Older sis not sure she approves.
3. Young Sis BF shows up to Old Sis, wants advice about popping q to young sis.
4. Old Sis and BF process the young guy wantint to propose. Then Young Sis shows up and we learn the kid already did it.
5. Old Sis isn’t sure about it. Also feels weird to be leapfrogged by young sis.
6. Young BF and Old BF meet. Old debriefs young on how to woo the girl’s parent’s. Young doesn’t really feel need to impress them.
7. They meet the parents. Parents are fine with the young girl getting married. But old sis is suddenly not and she explodes. Then old bf reveals it’s cuz the young sis is PREGNANT.
8. The whole thing blows up. Young sis leaves.
9. Old sis and old bf in cab on way home.
