This script was not as scary as the others. Tough to write a movie based on just a board game.
But I am going to try to think about how this script was different from SCREAM and THE RING to figure out how to avoid what happened in this one... Let's see... Will start with lessons on next page.

Slasher outline.
Interesting... None of the characters are pursuing the mystery too aggressively. The AUDIENCE MEMBER is the only person really trying hard to figure this out. The audience member also has access to more clues than anyone else. Script has strong control over what audience sees and does not see. Some might say it's manipulative but that's the point. That's how you tell a scary story. If you're writing a movie about a character who lives a lie for the whole time, this is a good one to study...
Another good example of a character maintaining a lie throughout the movie. Read more for outline...
Classic high concept rom com about true love and how it feels to love someone and how that ebbs and flows but ends up right in the end.
Thought I had posted this here but can't find it. This is what we should do whenever we finish a project and need to be productive in the aftermath...

NOTEThese outlines are not polished and they are not politically correct. They are bare bones and often do no justice to the script or the writers of said script. Posting the outlines here so they can be easily referenced when working on new pilots. Also thought they might be helpful to other writers out there. Archives
